Location: Coca Cola Hellenic, Lisburn
Work Pattern: Week 1 (7am to 3pm), Week 2 (11pm to 7am), Week 3 (3pm to 11pm)
Salary: £32 388 pa
Purpose of the Job
Wincanton is recruiting for a Warehouse Load Specialist; the purpose of this role is to:
- Carry out all direct and related work as required by the Warehouse Manager, for storage and distribution of soft drinks, premium spirits and snacks.
- Overall responsibility for the assignment of tasks relating to both picking and bulk loading and all relevant system tasks associated in WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Ensure accurate and timely communications between warehouse, the external logistics provider and the client (Coca Cola Hellenic).
- Support the Shift Supervisor in managing resources/equipment to achieve optimum output.
- Lead and drive Warehouse projects with a continuous improvement mindset
How will you contribute / key responsibilities
LEAD
Ensure warehouse function meets its daily /weekly and monthly targets
- Operations - Set up, operate, monitor and control operational processes specific to all Warehouse activities
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation & work under pressure
- Ensure standards of TPM/GWP are operated and adhered to within the warehouse. Ensure control in place over stock rotation & control of short dated stock. Ensure control of any quarantined or positive release stock
- Manage NPI process for new SKU's into warehouse for storage, picking and dispatch
- Be an ambassador for Wincanton
- Ensure all H&S standards support our Zero Harm culture
PARTNER
Develop good relationships with internal and external partners
- To liaise with the client and, the external logistics provider to ensure with smooth running with operation
- Maintain good channels of communication with all stakeholders
- Introduce new processes and better ways of working
- Collaboration with both the client and Wincanton group with a continuous improvement mindset
MANAGE
Manage with excellence daily deliverables in terms of warehouse to ensure great customer satisfaction
- To ensure smooth loading of trucks, correct stock & correct preload area. Check vehicle & driver details.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload/warehouse activities to meet business demands
- Ability to manage resources to ensure that Company assets are protected
- Assist with training and development
- Flexibility across all Warehouse functions
DELIVER
Deliver on key metrics
- To release pallets through SAP/ANT for picking & bulk loading, to co-ordinate picking replenishment in batches. To assign pre-stage areas for route loads. To liaise with engineering to ensure the smooth running of ANT. To liaise with dispatch & picking staff to ensure smooth running of make-up function
- Strong focus on good customer service
- Involved in Month Ends process and stock counts & Responsible for reconciling physical vs system stocks
THE PERSON:
Essential Skills
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- 1-2 years warehouse experience - FMCG including picking activities
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for quality, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
- Capability to work as part of a team, cross functionally and achieve results in relation to operational needs.
- Must be computer literate - without this skill it will be very difficult to operate with all control systems on site
- A self- starter & ability to use initiative to solve problems
- Flexible and able to respond positively and reliably to internal and external customer requirements
- Hands on approach and to be able to accept change where necessary.
- Driven by continual improvement and high personal standards.
- To be responsible for the health and safety of themselves and other colleagues by adhering to safe working practices
Desired
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C)
- IT Qualification
- Advanced SAP skills - ability to interrogate SAP -minimum 2 years' experience
- Forklift driving experience
- Management experience of leading others in a FMCG environment
- Previous project experience in warehouse environment
- Previous supervisory experience
