Overview
Search and Destroy is a unique and exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of military survival
and Adventure Training. This event will take participants through a story-lead overnight stay where escape
room meets the wilderness.
Your Mission
Your mission is to diffuse a bomb which has been planted by enemy forces in order to prevent the destruction
of a hydro station and the flooding of the town of Conistonia, a vital urban hub in the defence of our nation.
To achieve this, you must navigate to key checkpoints, retrieve codes which have been identified by
Intelligence Officers, locate the bomb and diffuse it.

Sections of 10. Maximum 6 Teams.
Those who book as individuals or smaller groups will be allocated a section.
Event Itinerary
Day 1
• Arrive at Holding Camp
• Opening brief by Commander of Operations.
• Prepare for Operations - equipment issue (mapping, clothing, 24-hour ration packs, basic survival
equipment)
• Commanders Orders
• Phase 1 - Retrieve Code 1 by ascending a Grade 1/2 Scramble.
• Phase 2 - Retrieve Code 2 by abseiling 120ft into the quarry and extracting through a water filled 60m
tunnel.
• Phase 3 - Retrieve Code 3 which is located in a network of old mining tunnels and caves, entering on a
Tyrolean Zip.
• Phase 4 - Navigate to a secure RV. On route, the team come across a friendly force casualty. You
must build a rope stretcher and extract to a Helipad. Code 4 dropped to each section by Rescue
Helicopter
• Phase 5 - Navigate to Holding Camp.
• Q and A with Chris Oliver.
• Dinner - Mess Tent.
• Heads Down in section lines.
Day 2:
• Reveille/Breakfast
• Section Commanders brief.
• Phase 6 - Nav to secure RV. Diffuse bomb at Hydro Station.
• Phase 7 - The Extraction. All Main Supply Routes are blocked. The only escape route is through a
Canyon which includes waterfall jumps, cliff jumps, rockslides and river scrambling.
• Arrive at second Hydro Station. Confirm it's secure. Retrieve packs. Endex.
• Return to camp. Hand in equipment. Lunch. Medals issued. Depart for home.

£350 per person. £3500 for a team of 10.

About Healthier Heroes CIC
I would like to take this opportunity to introduced myself. My name is Andrew Powell I am the CEO and co-Founder and owner of Healthier Heroes CIC with my Wife Rio Powell who is the COO. I have 16 years military service with the Queens Lancashire regiment then latterly the Duke of Lancaster’s regiment, which is where I ended my service in 2013.
Healthier Heroes CIC provides support to ex-service personnel, their families and carers who are struggling with an array of complex requirements and support, as well as members of the NHS and other blue light services. The support offered to our service users includes housing, education, employment, tackling isolation and health and wellbeing. Partnering with statutory and other third sector organisations we ensure our service users receive the support they need using a collaboration approach. From consultation through to delivery our service users drive us. We pride ourselves on co-designing all our delivery programmes in joint consultation with our beneficiaries.
We have been working with Many community groups and organisations within the north west for a number of years, with great and amazing success. We are very proud and very excited to be able to provide our services to support the wider armed forces community and blue light services across Lancashire. The charity has been set up and supported by people with lived experience of complex needs (including homelessness, mental health issues and substance misuse), so that clients have a space in which they will feel understood.
We are running a programme called UNITE INSPIRE BELIEVE which aims to tackle the complex needs of those in need. We opened our state of the art HQ, We opened Bancroft house in Burnley in December 2020, as we are now able to support the armed forces community across the north West. We are very excited to be able to house Homeless and venerable Veterans as well as those who have left the criminal Justice system, that may also be in need of support to help. This will help to stop the cycle of reoffending while providing 24-hour care and support to those that will be accommodated with us. Bancroft house offers accommodation with 21 double on suite rooms, as well as providing three move on properties that supports 8 veterans helping them to transition back into the community. Whilst also providing the wider community outreach support service to veterans and their families across the North west.
