This success marks our on-going commitment since being awarded Bronze in 2018, to not only uphold our pledge, but to go beyond it by promoting and assisting the transference of skills and qualities that candidates have gained in the military community to the civilian workplace. To gain this Award, we demonstrated how we proactively ensure that service personnel and the wider armed forces community are not unfairly disadvantaged during the recruitment and selection processes, and that our workforce is aware of our positive policies towards defence people issues. We also have a framework in place by providing at least five days’ additional special leave.
