About The Soldiers' Arts Academy C.I.C

The Soldiers Arts Academy supports recovery, learning and achievement through creative arts at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre.

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Community

The Soldiers' Arts Academy C.I.C focuses on using the arts to support serving soldiers, veterans, and their families. Through creative activities such as theater, music, writing, and visual arts, they aim to promote self-expression, boost mental well-being, and facilitate the healing process for those who have experienced the challenges of military life.

What we offer:

We promote that we are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation

We support the employment of veterans and recognise military skills and qualifications in our recruitment and selection process

We support Military cadets

We support our employees who are, or encourage others to become, volunteer leaders in military cadet organisations whilst supporting local military cadet units. We also recognise the benefits of employing cadets and ex-cadets within our workforce

We support Armed Forces charities with fundraising and we support staff who volunteer to assist

We support Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal Day and Remembrance activities.
