The Veterans Volunteer Service, supports former Armed Forces members struggling to transition to civilian life by harnessing their distinct management and skill sets. Through this, we empower them to mentor youths in our local community. This approach fosters a sense of belonging for our veterans while instilling civic respon-sibility in the younger generation, ultimately enriching the lives of all involved - youth, their families, and the broader community. This also helps to promote the Armed Forc-es and aids recruiting for the Armed Forces. The Veterans Volunteer Service also has trained Armed Forces Service Champions who deal with welfare cases on a day to day basis, which includes sign posting to adequate health care within the NHS and help with arranging housing. 2.2 We will spread awareness of these pledges via our brochures, website, and local events. This engagement provides us with valuable insights into our performance, garnered from the students, their parents, and the Academy itself.
