Establishing and maintaining a network of volunteers that can provide peer support to those Armed Forces personnel who are affected by cancer and who seek our support. Signposting individuals to other service and support providers who might meet our service users wider needs. Working collaboratively with other relevant charities and entities throughout the United Kingdom to support the needs of our service users and the wider Armed Forces community. Working closely with MOD and Single Service entities to align our service offering with and, where appropriate, inform the development of MOD rules and arrangements. Actively engaging with and promoting our services through the Single Services and wider MOD entities, including through advertising in journals and publications. Engaging with Local Authorities and Armed Forces Champions to promote our services and to support them in meeting their Covenant commitments. Promoting the fact that we are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation through our work and wider engagement. Where we have employees: o Support those who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment by granting an additional paid leave of 5 days per year and public duty leave (maximum of 14 days). o Granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during, and after a partners deployment.
