The Mercian Regimental Charity

The main activities of the charity are: to make charitable grants to promote the efficiency of the regiment and to any regimental charity of the regiment for the benefit of the regiment or former regiments; and to maintain memorials and chapels. Grants can be made, generally or individually, to relieve the need, hardship or distress of past and present members of the regiment and former regiments and their dependants. In practice, the charity gives grants to connected regimental charities for disbursement to individuals/beneficiaries.
