Despite being a small charity, we deliver support to hundreds of Veterans every year across the entire UK.
Our commitment to the Armed Forces Community
The Veterans Charity is the immediate needs support charity for Veterans who find themselves battling hardship and the distress it causes. We provide vital assistance for essentials including food shopping, utilities, clothing, communications, single household items and temporary emergency accommodation.
Despite being a small charity, we deliver support to hundreds of Veterans every year across the entire UK.
We also operate numerous inititiatives which are designed to provide members of the Armed Forces Community with socially-engaging, challenging or immersive acitivities. These include The Forces March, The Falklands Challenge and Breakfast Clubs which are hosted at both The Veterans Depot in Barnstaple and The Veterans Halt in Hayle.
The Veterans Depot is North Devon's first and only dedicated hub for the Armed Forces Community and was opened at our premises in Barnstaple in May 2024.
