Lisa's Ladies Talking Group Rotherham
Description
On July 7th, 2020, at the age of 34, Lisa Bateman, a former soldier in the Royal Medical Corps, tragically took her own life. In memory of Lisa, "Lisa’s Ladies" has been established to provide support for serving and former service women who can find solace and understanding among those who share their military experiences. Have you served in the armed forces? If so, the Hull 4 Heroes Lisa’s Ladies support group is here for you. Our group is comprised of individuals who have served in the armed forces, and we're here to lend a compassionate ear. We understand the unique challenges that military service can bring, and we are here to listen and offer support. The "LISA Military Talking Groups is an initiative specifically designed to create a supportive and empowering space for women with military backgrounds. Our program provides a platform for participants to engage in open discussions, share their military experiences, and foster connections within the military community. Through regular meetings and conversations, our aim is to build camaraderie, provide valuable insights, and address the distinctive challenges that military personnel and their families may encounter. This group is dedicated to establishing a robust network of women who can uplift and inspire one another as they navigate their lives beyond military service. We are here to support you, and together, we can face the unique challenges that come with life after military life.
