Description
Welcome to the Norfolk and Suffolk Walk, Talk, and Brew Group, a unique initiative designed to provide a supportive and enriching experience for veterans and individuals facing mental health challenges. Here's what our group is all about:
Origins: The Walk, Talk, and Brew concept was conceived and established by the founders of Who Dares Cares. It was born from the idea of creating a safe and inclusive space where veterans and those dealing with mental health issues can come together.
Our Objectives:
- Social Connection: We aim to foster socialization and camaraderie among our participants, offering a sense of community.
- Open Dialogue: While sharing is entirely optional, we encourage open and honest conversations about mental health, allowing individuals to express their thoughts and feelings if they choose.
- Resource Awareness: We provide information about the valuable services offered by Who Dares Cares and Mental Health Services. Our goal is to connect individuals with resources that can enhance their well-being.
- Physical Activity: Our activities include light exercise, which can have positive effects on mental health and help build confidence in social settings.
We invite you to be a part of our events, where you can engage with like-minded individuals, find support in a welcoming environment, and gain access to important information to support your mental health journey.
