Description
Welcome to the Fife and Tayside Walk, Talk, and Brew Group. We're here to provide a supportive and welcoming space for veterans and individuals facing mental health challenges. Here's what you can expect from our group:
Origin and Purpose: The Walk, Talk, and Brew concept was originally created by the founders of Who Dares Cares. It was born from the idea of offering veterans and individuals dealing with mental health issues a safe and comfortable environment. Our aim is to encourage socialization, facilitate open conversations, and provide information about the services offered by Who Dares Cares and Mental Health Services that could be beneficial to participants.
Safe Socialization: We offer a safe place for individuals to socialize with others who may be going through similar experiences. It's an opportunity to connect, share, and find support within the group.
Open Conversations: While participation in conversations is voluntary, we encourage and promote open discussions about mental health. We believe that talking about these issues is an important step towards healing and recovery.
Information Sharing: Our group provides valuable information about the services available through Who Dares Cares and Mental Health Services. We want to ensure that individuals are aware of the resources that can assist them on their journey to improved mental health.
Join us for our events, where you can enjoy light exercise, engage in conversations, and access helpful information to support your mental health and well-being. Feel free to reach out to Graham, our Point of Contact, for more details and to get involved.
