Overview As the Senior Contracts Manager in Microsoft’s Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) organization, you will be at the forefront of one some of the largest strategic partnerships Microsoft has in the UK. You will be a key player in the contractual management of this multi-million dollar deals, which will require you to use your business acumen and decision-making skills to act as the 'glue' between the various Microsoft business areas and the delivery of the program contracts. You will be an integral part of the program management team, providing commercial insights that contribute to the strategic direction and overall health of the contract and relationship with our partners.

Qualifications With your clear and considered communication style and your ability to solve problems in a cross-functional environment, you will be well positioned to make an impact in this role. Other skills and experience you will need to demonstrate are:
Extensive experience managing contracts and related documents at a large-scale corporation, law firm, or government entity A history working in a complex cross-functional business environment; Track record of building strong internal business and supplier relationships at all levels. Regular interaction with senior stakeholders, internally and externally, within an enterprise scale organisation Consulting experience or MBA qualification (Preferable).
Travel to meet the needs of the customer and our business can be expected to be approximately 20 - 30 %

Responsibilities As a member of the Commercial Team you will:
Work alongside the Commercial & Contracts Lead to shape the strategic approach to commercial contract management. Manage contracts and contractual processes to meet contractual obligations of the customer (frequently to very short timeframes). Ensure contract management is compliant with internal processes, and where necessary gain business support for new practices to be implemented. Manage suppliers to meet and exceed contractual obligations. Support and lead commercial negotiations including work order and contract variation approvals. Work with PMO, procurement, legal and finance functions to ensure new suppliers and/or opportunities are smoothly transitioned into the program. Participate in pre-sales activities, and then provide contractual oversight in the resulting delivery program. Support the Client Delivery Partner and Program Directors by providing them with all necessary contractual obligations and insights to effectively deliver program outcomes.
