How It Works:
1. Sign Up for the Armed Forces to Alstom Programme
Kickstart your journey by registering for the Armed Forces to Alstom programme.
2. Virtual Alstom Insight Day
You’ll be invited to join us for our Virtual Alstom Insight Day to learn more about the leading supplier of new trains, train services and signalling and rail infrastructure provider. You'll gain exclusive insights into our projects, work culture, and career prospects and discover how your military skills align with diverse career opportunities at Alstom.
3. Discovery Day
Following this, you’ll be invited to join us for an immersive experience at our Discovery Day. During the day expect a 30-minute 'mock-interview' tailored to provide personalised feedback to help you shine. Additionally, you'll receive valuable guidance on navigating our recruitment process, interview tips, and expert advice on enhancing your LinkedIn presence. Engage in group activities among fellow candidates, and embark on a tour of one of Alstom's sites to gain firsthand insights into our innovative projects.
4. Work Experience If you'd like to find out more, we can offer you a work experience - from just a day right up to 4 weeks in your area of choice.
If following the discovery day that you believe Alstom is the right fit for you, it's time to update your CV using our recommendations and apply for a role on our website. And we will connect you with a veteran employee 'buddy' who will be there to assist you through this application process.
5. Role-Specific Interviews
Successful candidates will have the chance to put what they've learned during their mock interviews into practice in role-specific interviews.
