Role Outline:

This role is responsible for providing expert advice and solutions to enhance exploration and production activities within the oil and gas industry. This role involves working closely with various departments to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing subsurface data digitalization projects, developing strategies for energy transition, and leveraging digital technologies to improve customer satisfaction. The consultant must possess strong domain expertise in subsurface areas, have hands-on experience with industry-specific software, and be adept at bridging gaps between product owners and developers. Travel may be required to collaborate with clients and stakeholders across different locations.

Responsibilities:

• Managing subsurface data digitalization projects to enhance exploration and production activities.
• Developing strategies for energy transition to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Leveraging digital technologies to improve customer satisfaction and overall efficiency.
• Collaborating with various departments to bridge gaps between product owners and developers.
• Traveling to work with clients and stakeholders across different locations.

Essential Experience:

• A deep understanding of geological science, reservoir engineering, and other subsurface-related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with industry-specific software: Proficiency in tools like Petrel, Techlog, and other digital technologies used in the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to bridge gaps between product owners and developers: Effective communication and collaboration skills to ensure smooth project execution.
• Knowledge of digital technologies: Familiarity with digitalization processes, data analytics, and other technologies that can enhance exploration and production activities.
• Travel readiness: Willingness to travel and work with clients and stakeholders across different locations.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Experience with ESG reporting and compliance: Understanding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards and how they apply to the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of renewables integration: Familiarity with integrating renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and biofuels into existing business value chains.
• Expertise in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS): Planning and integrating CCUS for managing carbon footprints.
• Proficiency in flexible energy supply solutions: Experience with gas, solar, wind, biofuels, and hydrogen energy solutions.
• Strong project management skills: Ability to manage complex projects and ensure timely delivery.
