As we grow, we’re looking for a sharp, mission-aligned Operations Manager to join our small and mighty team.
Role:
This is a pivotal role designed to be the right hand to our Founder, Hatty, to keep the Troopr engine running smoothly as we grow. You’ll be her go-to partner in managing day-to-day operations, aligning priorities, and coordinating activity across the team and wider network.This is a dynamic, fast-paced role for someone who thrives on structure, loves getting stuck into problem-solving, and enjoys wearing many hats. You’ll be the operational glue, helping us stay on track, scale efficiently, and deliver exceptional experiences to our community and partners.The role is also to be the ‘right hand person’ to the founder, assessing and managing priorities and coordinating activity across the small and growing team. Relationships with key stakeholders are of primary importance.
You’ll be a connector, a doer, and a calm, clear communicator who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to play a central part in a meaningful mission, with real autonomy and opportunity to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Founder Support & Strategic Ops:
- Serve as a trusted partner to the founder, helping assess and manage priorities.
- Act as a sounding board and thought partner, keeping the wheels turning across people, processes, and projects.
- Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems to free up the founder’s time and headspace.
- Team & Project Coordination:
- Drive operational rhythm – standups, check-ins, team updates, and workflows.
- Ensure clear comms, aligned timelines, and smooth collaboration across a growing team (core + freelance).
- Track progress on key projects and OKRs, helping keep everyone focused and accountable.
- Systems & Process Improvement:
- Own and optimise internal tools (HubSpot, Notion etc.) to keep operations humming.
- Identify bottlenecks and help implement smarter, more scalable ways of working.
- General Ops & Admin:
- Support with hiring, onboarding, and contractor management.
- Help manage diaries, inboxes, and logistics where needed.
- Keep us organised and focused across the board.
