Key Responsibilities:
- Technical - Ensuring that projects are delivered to the correct specifications and required quality/industry standards - skills directly transferable from military technical roles.
- People Management - Leading and motivating the team in accordance with AMK personnel policies and procedures - utilize the leadership skills you developed in service.
- Project Management / Planning & Organisation – Ensure effective communication with the operations & commercial team; planning work in an effective and efficient way, monitoring and reviewing project progress & delivery - similar to mission planning and execution.
- Commercial - Managing project specific costs to meet the budget and programme. Producing accurate commercial forecasts with commercial team for monthly review.
- Resource Management – Effectively managing materials, labour resource, staff, supply chain partners to ensure efficient project delivery - comparable to military logistics management.
- Health & Safety – Create and maintain a positive safety culture, leading by example, ensuring that all health, safety and environmental processes and procedures are followed - building on the safety discipline foundational to military operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience of successfully managing multi-discipline projects (military project management experience highly relevant)
Mechanical background
PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
Full driving licence
