Description
At the Ballyclare Resource Centre, we are dedicated to providing a range of therapeutic activities for individuals aged 18 and over who are either living independently or in supported housing within the local community. Our goal is to support mental well-being and foster a sense of empowerment, independence, social belonging, and inclusion.
What We Offer:
-
Group Activities: We facilitate various group activities, including arts and crafts, music sessions, personal development workshops, leisure activities, and daily living skills training. These activities are designed to promote recovery and enhance the overall quality of life.
-
Support for Carers: We extend our support to the caregivers and families of those affected by mental illness. We understand the importance of a strong support system.
-
Community Engagement: In addition to in-house activities, we encourage and support community-based programs. These may include gym groups, swimming sessions, a luncheon club, and seasonal outings to enhance social connections and physical well-being.
