Senior Lecturer in Criminology
Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, innovative and student focused criminologist to lead the development of Criminology and Policing provision at University College Birmingham. Our Criminology programmes will be delivered from September 2026, and you will be instrumental in designing the curriculum and ensuring it is both attractive to students and provides graduates with excellent progression opportunities.
You will have experience of developing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field, maintaining quality standards and providing an excellent student experience. Most importantly, you'll have an empathy for the diverse student body that UCB serves, and an understanding of the challenges that some students face in participating in higher education.
