The RAC Motoring Service offers breakdown cover for over 800 vehicles belonging to ARNO members. There are three main levels of coverage for vehicles, each with its own cost. Additional schemes are available for different types of vehicles like motorcycles, motorhomes, and Classic Cars. The coverage levels include various services such as Roadside assistance, Recovery, At Home assistance, Onward Travel, and European Assistance. Prices for annual coverage are provided and include Insurance Premium Tax (IPT).

To enroll in the scheme, ARNO members need to contact the office with their details including name, ARNO Membership number, desired coverage level, and vehicle details. RAC coverage can start at any time of the year. There's a 14-day window to cancel the policy for a full refund, provided RAC hasn't provided any service under the policy. After 14 days, no refund or credit is given upon cancellation. The scheme is specific to the registered vehicle, allowing any driver of that vehicle to request assistance. It doesn't extend to cover other vehicles, but members with multiple vehicles can opt for coverage on each vehicle individually.
