The Royal Navy Officers' Charity (RNOC) provides benevolence to both serving and retired officers of the Naval Service (RN, RM and QARNNS), their spouses, former spouses and dependants who are in need of financial support
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE GRANT PROCESS At any time you need our help, we have a simple process in place to make sure you get the advice and assistance you require quickly and easily.
STEP ONE Call us or email us to let us know what the problem is.
STEP TWO In many cases and wherever possible we will collect the details we need from you to progress the application.
If an in person meeting is needed or in more complex situations, with your consent we will ask a partner organisation to help us.
STEP THREE The information (usually financial) and request are then reviewed and a recommendation made to the RNOC Benevolence Committee.
STEP FOUR We will communicate the decision to you as soon as practicable and deliver any assistance agreed.
We aim to respond within a week of receiving all the information at Step 2.
