Description
Social Inclusion trips have seen an increase and wide variety over the last few years. The feedback we have had from our members is that it involves many more participants as it takes in account all the mental conditions, physical conditions, their ages, financial circumstance and personal commitments.
Social Inclusion has many benefits to those taking part, including;
- Improved feelings of well-being and self-esteem.
- Access to activities currently not available
- Expanded life experiences by participating in activities in different types of settings.
- Engaging with others and making new friends and social networks.
- Being part of a community group.
- Changed social and personal behaviours.
For more information on the social inclusion activities please contact the office or call into the VIC Centre where we have them displayed on a notice board, alternatively they can be viewed on our Facebook Page.
