What You'll Do:
As an AW101 Pilot Instructor, you will oversee; simulator conversion flying, type conversion flying training, basic role flying training, for Pilots on AW101 aircraft types for various international customers.
Training delivery: Schedule and deliver the Flying Training Flying Programme.
Technical Assesments: Support conduct of technical assessments and analysis of requirement with your customer.
Development: Support the development and content of Flying Training Courses for the AW101 aircraft.
Research: Evaluate and research the technical content of the training material for currency, accuracy and ease of applicability.
Reporting: Complete Instructors Flight Reports after every training sortie. As well as maintaining the flying training documentation and records.
Compliance: Support regular reviews of the Standardisation, Safety and Quality Systems, and make proposals for improving safety standards and efficiency in training.
Please note most of the flying training is delivered at our UK Flying Training Centre in Yeovil, although there may be a requirement to deploy overseas to either deliver flying training or to support the customer’s AW101 introduction into service.
What we need from you:
- Ex-UK military EH101 or AW101 QHI
- Minimum 1500hrs twin engine helicopter PIC
- Minimum QHI B1 (Instructor) 500hrs multi engine instruction
- Ideally some previous involvement in course design and development
Security Clearance: You must be eligible for full security clearance.
