Description
North Wales Homes for Veterans provide housing and support to ex-Service personnel who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. These homes are situated in Glan Conwy, Llandudno Junction, and Colwyn Bay, accommodating up to 19 Veterans. Upon arrival, residents work with a designated key worker to create a tailored support plan, including accessing various agencies for counseling, addiction assistance, and more. The homes offer proximity to local amenities and transportation services. Residents also receive training in budgeting, healthy living, shopping, and life skills, along with access to training courses through a local college. The program aids residents in transitioning to independent living and offers referral options from various sources, including self-referrals. For more details, individuals can contact the provided contacts or obtain the project information sheet.
