Disabled Concessionary Travel
Description
This guide provides information about the Disabled Concessionary Travel scheme in Scotland. To apply for the scheme, you'll need to have certain documents ready, such as identification and proof of address. The scheme offers free bus travel throughout Scotland on registered bus services, except for a few exceptions like premium night buses and City Sightseeing buses. Anyone with valid disability proof from the last 18 months and residing in Scotland can apply. There's a list of accepted disability proofs on the Transport of Scotland website. Note that individuals aged 5-21 or 60+ may have better options, such as Young Person Free Bus Travel or 60+ concessionary travel. More information is available on the Transport for Scotland website, including videos explaining the application process.
