Description
RNA Members Only The RNA is now very excited to offer a new drink to our members in addition to the “1921 Reserve” Navy Strength Gin. This is the ARCTIC CONVOY VODKA, a small batch Vodka (40% proof) made in conjunction with the Handmade Gin Company for the Royal Naval Reserve Officers’ Club, Liverpool (the Sea Urchins) to commemorate the sailing of the first convoy from Liverpool to Archangelsk in August 1941. (Operation Dervish) The convoy consisted of 6 merchantmen, 1 fleet oiler and 14 escorts in relays. There were no casualties. Churchill called the Arctic Convoys “the worst journey in the world” The good news is that this available at only £33 (+£4.50 P&P) and the RNA receives 10% for each bottle sold, so apart from drinking a very smooth Vodka, you are helping the Association!
