Description

The MFARE Family Support Service is an additional support program offered to all clients accessing their service. It aims to involve the family members of addicted clients in the recovery process, enhancing their understanding, well-being, and resilience. This program provides family members with education and support to help them begin their own journey of healing from the impact of addiction. The goal is to ensure that families can work together to support the client's recovery. The MFARE support worker conducts weekly individual family meetings, monthly family groups, and quarterly residential sessions, working closely with the Tom Harrison House team to address broader family needs. Additionally, there is access to an online support group for continuous support.
