Salary: £30-32.5k per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Working hours:  42.5 hours, normally 7.30am-5.00pm, Monday-Friday

Admin skills, organised and adaptable, good at building a rapport with customers and, ideally, office-based transport operations experience..If this sounds like you and balancing a busy workload in a fast-paced transport depot will keep you engaged, not fazed, then we want to hear from you! As Transport Administrator, you will join our Knowl Hill depot, near Maidenhead and Reading,

What you’ll be doing as Transport Administrator
Our transport offices are the nerve centres of our waste collection services and key to daily operations running smoothly, with the onus on providing fantastic customer service. Providing admin support to the Depot Operations Manager, there is plenty to turn your hand to, including:

Relaying customer requests and any issues 
Daily recording of weights on Enwis (our inhouse system) and producing end-of-month reports. Filing weight tickets for cross-reference with invoices.
Ordering office equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
New starter admin 
Updating and maintaining the clocking and payroll system 
Maintaining holiday/absence records
Liaising with drivers over general queries, including basic payroll queries/HR issues

What you’ll need

Ideally two years’ office-based experience involving transport operations, or a sound knowledge of the waste industry 
Good computer skills - think Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, plus our own systems (we'll train you up)
Numerate, with good spoken and written English 
Flexibility with the ability to multi-task
You can think on your feet and use your initiative
