Armed Forces Pension Roadshow

Helping members of the Armed Forces community to better understand their pension and guiding them to take ownership of any related decisions is extremely important to us.

Since 2008 we’ve been delivering group briefings to the Armed Forces community in the UK and overseas. And you don’t even have to be a member of The Society to attend!
They last for around 60 minutes (including audience discussion) and describe our work and its value to serving, those in resettlement, and retired members of the Armed Forces and their dependants. The feedback we receive is overwhelmingly positive.

We deliver about 250 briefings each year. We’re in high demand – the number of briefings and locations covered are increasing as more and more of you discover the value of the sessions. Most importantly, we tailor our brief to your audience.

The Forces Pension Society is an independent, not-for-profit membership funded organisation that acts as a pension watchdog for the whole military community.

We exist to:

• Guide our Members on the technical aspects of their Armed Forces Pension
• Campaign against any injustices in the policy provision or mal-administration of Armed Forces Pensions
• Educate the Armed Forces community on all Armed Forces pension matters. 

Our purpose is to empower our Members to make the best pension choices. We do that by: 

• Providing accurate, timely and credible technical pension guidance and other services to our Members;
• Representing the whole Armed Forces Community at the top tables of government in relation to Armed Forces Pensions, challenging when necessary;
• Raising awareness across the Armed Forces Community on the complexities and benefits of their Armed Forces Pension
