Defence Discount Service
Through the Defence Discount Service, the Armed Forces Community has access to thousands of online and store discounts, allowing savings on clothes, holidays, cars, days out and insurance - for free. The Defence Privilege Card is a discount card that can be used on the high street. The card allows veterans and spouses of someone currently serving to receive discounts and it costs £4.99 for a 5 year membership.
Blue Light Card
The Blue Light card is not exclusive to the Armed Forces Community but it allows veterans and those serving across the tri-services access to more than 15,000 discounts from large national retailers to local businesses, with savings on cars, days out, fashion, gifts, insurance, phones, and more. It is £4.99 for 2-years.
Veterans Railcard
With the Veterans Railcard you will receive a third off rail travel. The discount card is for UK veterans who served at least one day in the Armed Forces or Merchant Mariners who have seen duty on legally defined military operations.
HM Forces Railcard
The HM Forces Railcard is for serving personnel, reservists and spouse/civil partners and offers a third off most rail fees for one year and costs £21.
